Fantastic Library App Reviews

It has a habit of freezing up and every time I move an item to another category, it insists on refreshing the entire list. The most annoying thing is that every book that I scan comes up with another name. The ISBN is the same; however, the EAN is different. I have to use search and that doesnt always work. You would think that a TOS Star Trek book would be listed. Well, it did scan one book correctly. Earth Strike: Star Carrier. EDIT: Same thing happens in ItemShelf. Some popular movies are not listed either. For example: Pan, The Neverending Story, Ice Age: The Meltdown, and Stargate Continuum.

I love the subtle new design of the app, making it much more appealing to use. The search for items is no longer clunky as it was before. Its also easier now to look through books. If you need an app to manage your books, Fantastic Library is great to use!

11/10/16: Still no reply. Ran latest update, still will not load my library. 9/20/16: Still no reply. 9/11/16: Still no reply. Ran latest update, still will not load my library. 7/22/16: Still no reply from support. 6/16/16: After the latest update, it has stopped working - gets stuck on the "Loading Collection" screen. App Support links lead to a German page, which just links back to the App Store. I actually used this app a lot, for cataloging and tracking lending. I had well over 1,000 books entered, along with lending records. Now it is inaccessible. I can no longer recommend it.

Love it-the closest thing to Booxter that still lets me add new items on the devices I carry with me. Since theres no IPad version of Booxter, this is the next best thing.

Music data base is not very big no vinyl cannot find many barcodes and for movies new releases bar code scanner will not find, i bought this app

When I can sort by surname instead of given name, Ill give it 5 stars. Its a good app, so I hope this feature will be added soon.

This is an awesome way to not only keep up with your library but to also keep up with movies lent out...I love texting the late notice to people who have borrowed a movie

This app is nice, fills a lot of needs. Almost all my movies scanned, even old ones. Trying to scan books has been a problem, especially older ones. Many scans bring up the wrong book info, and images. These all have bar code stickers, and the codes are not marked or marred. Could use some help with this.

This is maybe the third app I have ever rated- but i instantly fell in love with this app. Its continuous scan mode allowed me to capture books easily and the records came back in seconds. I love the options for categories and lending. The app gets 4 stars because it pulled in two books as movies (one was the Giving Tree). It is very easy to change the type category from movie to book, but given that it pulled 2 items out of about 12 incorrectly in my first scanning session, there is some room for improvement.

Lots of great things the scan and find feature was excellent! The ability to categorize and have different libraries is nice but its not easy to add categories after scanning them in. I wish there was a way, maybe with checkboxes, I could group books and categorize them more easily. Could not find any apps support. 5 stars with help and easier categorizing.

Not bad, likes to quit on you once in awhile after continuous use. Other than that its a great app..

Easy to use, efficient too! Worked great for me using my ipad. Scans were recognized as the correct item 9/10 times. East to add titles manually, too. You cant beat the price, either!

I love this app.

I have entered over 400 items in this library and about 99 percent accuracy using the ISBN barcode scan. Not hard to do a manual entry if you need to as well. For $1.00 this is an excellent product.

Ive had this app for less than a day and it has already surpassed all of the other library apps that Ive downloaded and tried to date. Thank you and Great job guys!!

This app is awful. Ive tried to use it for awhile now but the "online back" doesnt work at all! I got a new device and tired to share my collections and nothing!?! Tried to get in touch with "support" & guess what NOTHING!!! I am using iPod Touch 4Gs but they are listed as capable devices? Just awful wish I had never wasted $ or time w/this junk! STAY AWAY!!

Very impressed with smoothness and accuracy. Very few issues with current movie titles nothing serious. Puts movielious app to shame.

Easy user interface! had 100 games scanned correctly and entered in the first hour or so after download. Am using this with my special needs son so that he can talk about what games he has and likes. Wish the the covers were bigger (even if they would expand to a large view only when selected) or wish it had a coverview that would allow for a bigger view as you scrolled through. But despite that..... still give it a great review.

A great and useful app but buggy, still needs some work!

Best app you can find if you have lots of books. Great Job guys. Also the barcode reading is done in lightning speed.
