Fantastic Library App Reviews

After the latest update, it has stopped working - gets stuck on the "Loading Collection" screen. App Support links lead to a German page, which just links back to the App Store. I actually used this app a lot, for cataloging and tracking lending. I had well over 1,000 books entered, along with lending records. Now it is inaccessible. I can no longer recommend it.

I would give it a 5 star rating if it didnt keep freezing & making me close the app or reboot my phone. If this app worked to its full potential I would have given it 10 stars!

I spent hours scanning my (big) collection of books. Once I began the manual entry method, my registered series and tons of books were missing! Its a hassle just knowing that I have to go back and check which of my books were taken out.

It doesnt want to accept assignments on categories and it wont save unless news category is defined. Meaning infinite loop, and the app is for all practical purposes hung up.

Was great. Now I can not reinstall my library that took a long time to add. Also. Support hasnt contacted me back after three attempts contacting them over a month ago You can Not have your library either on both the iPhone and iPad.

I love the subtle new design of the app, making it much more appealing to use. The search for items is no longer clunky as it was before. Its also easier now to look through books. If you need an app to manage your books, Fantastic Library is great to use!

This app is almost perfect. One feature it DESPERATELY needs is to be able to sort items in alphabetical order (be it by title or books by title & author). I planned on using this for my music library to scan books & know which student had borrowed what but without the alphabetical order sort, it would take forever to sort through all my books & sheet music.

Would be perfect if it could sort items in some way (by author, title, etc). This should be relatively easy for a database program to do. Instead, it only shows the items in the order they were entered into the database. You can search for a specific item in the search field, but scrolling through a long list of items would be faster if you could sort them. On the plus side, it did scan items quickly and accurately.

iCloud sync, PDF / Excel exporting. What more could you ask for? Thank you for this app.

It is fantastic!

I have almost a full collection of PlayStation two games and this app is perfect for these. I can keep a digital library of what games I have and it automatically gives a description of the game. Its fun to use and the barcode scanner couldnt get any easier to use, thank you LightApps!

...otherwise, its an excellent app. Although I would like to see custom grouping options. For instance, if I wanted to mark all Japanese giant monster films as part of a group called Kaiju, and then be able to display them as a list or dashboard, that would be great.
